Code of practice

What I do:

It is my responsibility as a tarot reader, to provide a safe, non-judgemental, welcoming and inclusive space for clients.

Anything shared with me during a reading remains completely confidential - the only exceptions to this are in the very unlikely event that I am required to disclose details of information I hold by law; or if you tell me that you, or someone else, are in immediate danger.

I believe in the autonomy and personal responsibility of anyone coming to me for a reading. Whilst a tarot reading may be a catalyst for positive change, the actions required to bring about that change, and the credit for doing so, belong to the individual, not me.

I welcome bookings from those of all genders and none, of any race or colour, all sexual orientations and religions, those with disabilities and those who are able-bodied, those who identify as neuro-typical and those who don’t.

I aim to provide readings which are inclusive and accessible to clients from all backgrounds, and as a white, able-bodied, cis woman, am open to being called in, kindly, if I miss the mark.

What I don’t do:

I do not read predictively, or practice fortune telling. It is my belief that the cards can be a wonderful tool for exploring our lives, beliefs, choices and current trajectory, and also that we have free will, and that our actions today, can change our tomorrows.

I do not read for third parties. When someone comes to me for a reading, it’s their reading. For example, I will read for on questions like “how can I best navigate the stress of my divorce?” or “how can I best support my son’s transition to university?”, but not on questions like “is my husband having an affair?” or “how can I make my son choose X university?”.

I am not qualified to, and nor will I, give financial, legal or medical advice.
